Under their aegis, Seventh Sky Entertainment has been able to carve a niche from the onset, for each one of the two, at the core of their workings have an enviable list of accolades.

Director
Abdullah Kadwani
Abdullah Kadwani is the Group Managing Director of Pakistan’s No.1 Entertainment Network, Geo Entertainment Holdings since February 2018 after their joint venture partnership with 7th Sky Entertainment. He is responsible for all the units that come under it which include Geo’s Entertainment TV channels including Geo and Kahani, Production House, Geo Films, Fire Records and all other entertainment properties of Geo Network.
Abdullah started his media career with a glamorous start as a model. Between 1991-1995, he remained as one of the top models in the country with more than 25 television commercials to his credit. He also remained the leading Television actor of the country till 2012 with more than 50 Television dramas to his credit. His quest for excellence did not stop here & he soon ventured into not only productions but the industry saw in him the making of a director as well. Between 1997-2001 he directed three serials, two of which won him the Best serial awards while on business front his name has been synonymous with media broadcast marketing & sales.
Starting out as the CEO of Media International in 1993 a media events, public relations and media marketing company he soon took over as the CEO in partnership with Pakistan’s biggest media services group, Interflow Group and launched his flagship company, Icon Media Group in the year 2000. Since 2004 he has been the Director and founding partner of 7th Sky Entertainment, Pakistan’s premier broadcast and Film Entertainment Company, which has proudly bagged several awards and accolades in different categories for its various projects. 7th Sky Entertainment has produced over 130 projects, which range from drama serials, soap, tele-features, films and branded content for clients making it the largest content producing company in Pakistan.
Abdullah Kadwani is a renowned Pakistani Actor, Director, Marketer and Producer who brings decades of media related skill sets including performing arts, advertising, media marketing, sales and production. He was also the CEO of Media Max and as part of the core team played a vital role in launching a leading satellite channel of Pakistan and was associated with them for 11 years.
Abdullah Kadwani has transformed the media production industry by introducing professionalism and culture transforming values. He ventured into not only productions, but direction as well and has directed many award winning dramas. With a diversified portfolio he has been contributing substantially to the entertainment media industry in Pakistan. He has been a recipient of many awards including; Best Producer, Best Actor and Best Drama Serials. He brings with him an unsurpassed experience of more than 25 years in the field of Television industry in Pakistan. His acumen has led him to create milestones, new channels, programming and ideas that have also earned him a reputation of a man of commitment, relationship and performance. He remains the only individual in the industry to have experienced 360 degrees of this trade, winning him accolades and awards in recognition of the same. Today, he continues to do so with a proven track record of quality, performance, integrity and innovation.

Director
Asad Qureshi
In a career spanning almost two decades in the Pakistani media industry, working in various capacities in production companies, broadcast channels and marketing outfits, Asad Qureshi has made a mark for himself as someone with a keen insight on innovative and cutting edge business trends that are redefining the future of the industry.
After graduating with a degree in business, Asad started his career with ‘Teleworld Marketing’ which was engaged in marketing Pakistan Television Corporation, the state’s national broadcaster. He then moved on to ‘Prestige’, an affiliate of ‘Grey Worldwide’ as part of their media planning and buying department. Recognizing the rich potential of the satellite broadcast industry, he became a core part of the team responsible for launching Indus TV Network – Pakistan’s first satellite channel.
Soon after, he became part of ‘Media Max’ in 2001, a media marketing agency instrumental in launching the ARY Digital Network in Pakistan. This venture allowed Asad to gain valuable insight in the marketing, production and technical aspects of media creation and sales, allowing him to produce hundreds of hours of television programming including lifestyle and magazine shows, serials, series, sit-coms, tele-films, special plays and live events.
In 2004, this same experience helped Asad establish ‘7th Sky Entertainment’ along with Mr. Abdullah Kadwani, which has since then become Pakistan’s leading independent content producer. The company is now synonymous with quality entertainment, winning multiple awards and producing such groundbreaking projects as Tere Bin, Ruposh, Khuda Aur Mohabbat, Aye Musht e Khaak, Khaani, Qalander, Meray Humnasheen, Chauraha, Dil-e-Momin, Chaudry & Sons, Rang Mahal, Ishq Jalebi, Romeo Weds Heer, Daam, Sheher-e-zaat, Dauraha, Meri zaat zarr-a-e bay-nishaan amongst many many others, which have proven themselves to be milestones in the history of Pakistani entertainment.
In the 2018, after more than a decade of exemplary content production, ‘7th Sky Entertainment’ and GEO Media Group signed a JV which resulted in Asad being appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of GEO Entertainment. Since the agreement, GEO Entertainment has gone from strength to strength, producing and broadcasting award-winning rating-hit shows, and releasing and launching blockbuster films. With his eyes on the future, Asad is one of the pioneers of digital distribution and syndication of Pakistani entertainment content, and now plans to use this new avenue to take Pakistani entertainment global.
Asad was selected for and is recipient of a degree from the AMP program in Media Management from IESE Business School and UCLA. He is a member of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the United Producers Association and the Pakistan Digital Publishers Association.
